Creator Marketing & Collaboration Marketplace

Crezly

Crezly is an influencer marketing platform that connects brands with creators. We use the YouTube Data API to securely allow creators to link their channels and showcase their authentic statistics (such as subscriber counts and video views) directly on their Crezly profile for brand collaborations.
Platform Architecture

How Crezly Works

Crezly operates as a dedicated marketplace connecting businesses and brands with independent content creators for promotional campaigns, video sponsorships, and creative services.

1 Profile Creation & Channel Linking

Independent creators build their professional Crezly profile. To establish authenticity, creators can choose to link their YouTube channel via Google OAuth 2.0 authorization using the read-only scope.

2 Transparent Brand Discovery

Brands discover creators matching their target niches. Crezly presents authorized channel indicators—such as public subscriber count and total video views—directly from YouTube so brands can review real channel metrics.

3 Collaborative Deal Execution

Brands and creators initiate collaborations, agree upon project deliverables and milestones, and execute creative promotional agreements with mutual clarity and transparent performance context.

Independent Marketplace Relationship

Crezly is an independent marketplace platform. Crezly is not an employer, talent agency, or recruiter, nor does it perform creative production services on behalf of creators. All creators operate as independent service providers negotiating their own brand collaborations.

API Purpose & Business Utility

Why Crezly Needs YouTube Subscriber Counts and Video Views

Crezly connects brands with independent creators for promotional campaigns, creator collaborations, and agreed creative services. Access to YouTube channel statistics fulfills essential marketplace functions:

A. Creator Discovery

Subscriber counts help brands understand the approximate size of a creator's YouTube audience. Video views help brands understand the cumulative reach of the creator's published content. These metrics provide objective, structured context when brands browse and filter potential creative partners across industries and topics.

B. Campaign Matching

Brands evaluate whether a creator's channel size and published content align with their specific campaign objectives and budget tiers. This allows brands to compare potential collaborators using verified, structured information rather than relying exclusively on unverified self-written profile summaries.

C. Creator Credibility & Transparency

Displaying channel statistics retrieved directly from the YouTube Data API allows creators to present their channel milestones transparently. This eliminates the need for manual screenshot sharing or external third-party claims, building immediate trust between creators and brand marketers.

D. Informed Collaboration Decisions

Subscriber counts and video views serve as contextual indicators, not guarantees of engagement, conversions, sales, or campaign success. Brands are explicitly advised that these metrics indicate historical channel activity and do not independently predict commercial results.

E. Why Authorized Channel Linking Matters

When a creator links their YouTube channel through authorized Google OAuth, Crezly cryptographically verifies that the connecting user is the legitimate owner or authorized manager of the specified channel. This prevents unauthorized users from claiming channels they do not operate and guarantees that the statistics displayed on a creator's profile belong to that creator.

Compliance & Accuracy Disclosures
  • Distinct Metrics: YouTube subscriber counts are channel audience metrics and are never conflated with Instagram followers or other platform indicators.
